Chul B. Park, born in May 1960, is a Korean Canadian, an academician of the Royal Canadian Academy of Sciences, an academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a foreign academician of the Korean National Academy of Sciences, a foreign academician of the Korean National Academy of Engineering, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and a professor of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of the University of Toronto.
1984-1988 Research assistant of the KAIST (KAIST);
1988-1993 Research assistant of MIT;
Obtained a doctoral degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993;
From 1993 to 1998, served as an assistant professor at the University of Toronto;
From 1998 to 2000, he served as a tenured associate professor at the University of Toronto;
In 2000, he was appointed as a full professor at the University of Toronto.
